Based on Louis Sachar’s best-selling book series, Wayside chronicles the comically-absurd tales of students on the top floor of a quirky grammar school that was accidentally built 30-stories high. Following the peculiar twists and turns of kid logic, the show attempts to capture how kids really see the world in all its preposterous, contradictory glory. Here students are actually smarter than their teachers, the principal truly loathes children, and sometimes you learn more by sleeping through a class than by staying awake in it.
